Ruiz vs. 1st Fidelity Loan Servicing

In April 2013, Minnesota's Supreme Court ruled in favor of Drewes Law's argument in landmark Ruiz v. 1st Fidelity Loan Servicing, marking the first major win for a homeowner fighting foreclosure in the state's highest court since the Great Depression. The Supreme Court ruled "void" a sheriff's foreclosure sale where the foreclosing lender violated state laws leading up to the sale.
