Civil Litigation

We assist clients through contract disputes, partnership or ownership disputes, corporate fraud, veil piercing, mediation, arbitration and litigation.

We also regularly investigate and litigate claims concerning noncompliance with federals laws, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and Fair Credit Reporting Act.

More information is available at our Civil Litigation BLOG, or by calling attorney Bennett Hartz at 612-285-3064.

Foreclosure

We counsel clients with questions or issues related to foreclosure, including analysis of the rights and options of homeowners in each and every stage of the Minnesota foreclosure process. Whether you're looking for a loan modification before going into default, or facing immediate eviction, we want to talk with you.

We have helped clients negotiate short-sale settlements to avoid foreclosure, rent their property to avoid foreclosure, obtain loan modification to "save" their home, file bankruptcy to give clients an opportunity to catch-up on late payments, stop foreclosure sales, invalidate sheriff's sales through litigation, obtain payoffs from lenders in exchange for relinquishing a client's rights, keep homeowners in their home so they can move with dignity, and settle claims with junior lien-holders post-foreclosure. We represent clients through mediation, arbitration and litigation.

Many counselors and attorneys simply don't understand the Minnesota foreclosure process. We're happy to discuss your rights and options.

More information is available at our Foreclosure BLOG, or by calling attorney Michael Wang at 612-285-3059.

Bankruptcy

We represent many debtors (and a few creditors) navigate Minnesota bankruptcy. For debtors we provide compassionate advocacy, stopping foreclosure, garnishment, and creditor harassment. We help clients file for bankruptcy relief under the Bankruptcy Code and are a debt relief agency. For clients seeking an alternative to bankruptcy, we offer debt negotiation and debt settlement services, working with clients to negotiate a sustainable payment plan with creditors.

We also litigate “adversary proceedings” when disputes in bankruptcy are related to fraud, claimed exemptions, collections or disputed rights.

More information is available at our Bankruptcy BLOG, or by calling bankruptcy attorney Morgan Spah at 612-285-3061.

Immigration

We represent clients with immigration questions and problems. We are happy to answer questions. More information is available on our Immigration BLOG, or by calling immigration attorney Caitlin Guilford at 612-285-3053.
